How to maintain bedding?

1. The frequency of washing bedding (excluding core) can be determined according to personal hygiene habits. Before the first use, you can rinse it in water once to wash off the surface slurry and floating color of printing and dyeing, which will be softer to use and less likely to fade when washed in the future.
2. Except for special materials and those that are marked as not washable (such as silk), generally speaking, the washing procedure is: first pour neutral detergent into the water of the washing machine, the water temperature should not exceed 30℃, wait for the detergent to completely dissolve before putting in the bedding, and the soaking time should not be too long. Because using alkaline detergents or too high water temperature or the detergent is not evenly dissolved or soaking for too long may cause unnecessary fading. At the same time, light-colored products should be washed separately from dark-colored products to avoid mutual dyeing. After washing, dry it in a ventilated place outdoors. If you want to use a dryer, please use low-temperature drying, and the temperature should not exceed 35℃ to avoid excessive shrinkage. Bedding is generally placed on the bed for people to use when sleeping, including quilts, quilt covers, sheets, bedspreads, fitted sheets, pillowcases, pillow cores, blankets, mats and mosquito nets; generally, the bedding we refer to mainly refers to textile products, quilted products and polyester fiber products, excluding blankets and mats.
In short, you should carefully read the washing instructions of the relevant products before washing. For products with decorative accessories, be sure to remove lace, pendants, etc. before washing to avoid damage.
3. Please clean it first, dry it thoroughly, fold it neatly, and put a certain amount of mothballs (not in direct contact with the product), and put it in a dark, low-humidity, and well-ventilated place. Quilt products that have not been used for a long time can be dried in the sun before reuse to make them fluffy again.
4. Special precautions:
A. Do not rub or twist linen products when washing (because the fibers are brittle and easy to fluff, affecting the appearance and life).
B. When collecting cotton and linen products, pay attention to keeping the environment clean and prevent mildew. Light-colored and dark-colored products should be stored separately to prevent discoloration and yellowing.
C. White silk products cannot be placed in camphor balls or camphorwood boxes, otherwise they will turn yellow.
D. Except for the single-hole fiber pillow, all others can be washed, but because of its thickness, it must be fully dried in the sun so that it will not affect the reuse. It is best to use a pillowcase to avoid the trouble of washing.
