Pigment printing color paste is generally composed of color paste, adhesive, optical coupling agent and latex color paste, which can be mixed when used.
Pigment printing is the printing method with the lowest cost in printing production, because pigment printing is relatively simple, requires the least process, and usually does not need steam washing and water washing. The paint is bright and rich in color and can be used on all textile fibres. Their light fastness and dry cleaning fastness are good, even excellent, so they are widely used in decorative fabrics, curtain fabrics and clothing fabrics that require dry cleaning. In addition, the coating hardly produces a large color difference on different batches of fabrics, and the hiding power of the base color is also very good when covering the printing.
With repeated washing or dry cleaning, the pigment print will gradually fade and the color will become lighter. This is due to the constant rotation and stirring during the cleaning process, which causes the resin adhesive to gradually fall off. Generally, after washing 20-30 times, this printed cloth will have obvious fading phenomenon. Due to the application of resin and silicone softener in the finishing process, the color fastness of the fabric is improved. It's worth noting that dark colors tend to fade more easily than light or light colors.
The paint makes the printed part of the fabric feel hard, which is not obvious in light colors, but very prominent in dark colors. The paint is not particularly hardwearing and the color is particularly dark. Fabrics such as furniture upholstery should especially avoid dark paint.

The color fastness of the paint is generally grade 3, and the color will not fade when washed by a washing machine. Generally speaking, from the perspective of color fastness, the color fastness of reactive printing is relatively good.
Brightness indicates which is better: pigment printing or reactive printing: the reactive ink can penetrate into the fiber and the color is very bright. Lacquer ink generally penetrates into the surface of the fiber, and the brightness is relatively weak compared with the activity.
Explain which printing is better from the perspective of environmental protection: the pigment ink jet printing process is generally printed on the front of the cloth, which is easily decomposed by nature and fully meets the environmental protection requirements. Reactive printing penetrates into the front and back of the fabric, which is difficult to decompose in nature and is not environmentally friendly.
